Traditionally, all Thai curries are made with the same ingredients except for one thing: the chilies. Red curry is made with up to 20 red chilies, while green curry is made with green chilies, and yellow curry is made with yellow chilies. The chilies have slightly different taste characteristics in addition to their color. Other ingredients are added to enhance each of these curries, making them more distinct.
